When I joined the Tone It Up Nutrition plan in June 2012, I weighed 172 pounds and was a size 10. I have lost a total of 25 pounds and 26 inches since then. I now weigh 147 pounds and am wearing a size 4 for the first time in eight years. I wasn’t what I considered to be a ‘big girl’ when I started this, but I wasn’t living the life I wanted. Being an actor, image is so important. Not just the way you look, but the way you portray yourself to the world at large. Now, when people look at me, they can see a strong, determined, confident woman who leads an active lifestyle and puts the right kind of foods into her body. They see a woman who truly loves her body, in all aspects.
When I first started out, my goal was to lose 10 pounds and to get a 28-inch waist. I achieved that goal by the end of September, after only four months of being on the Tone It Up plan. I was shocked at how easy it was for me to not only lose the weight but keep the weight off, and I was really surprised by how different my body looked!
