Today, I’m sharing a story that’s very close to my ♥ heart ~ it’s my Mom’s transformation!

As you’ll see below I never tried to push her lose weight or to follow our Tone It Up Nutrition plan. After seeing so many other team members have success with the plan, she decided to make a change, but she actually started all on her own without telling me or my brother! My Dad hinted she was up to something but we had no clue until my brother and I came home from California for Thanksgiving, and there she was ~ running up and down the stairs like a teenager! I couldn’t believe it!! My eyes welled up and I was overcome with happiness for her… she was healthy! The biggest difference I saw was her spirit. She was full of energy, she was smiling more, she brushed off any stress like it was nothing, she was walking with no pain, moving around the house really quick— AND my Dad and her were flirting!!! It was so adorable… and still is.

My mom lost 55 lbs and I am so proud of her ~ beyond words can express!!

When I started following Tone It Up, that was it, I was hooked on the healthy lifestyle! I love the positive change it made to both my body and my happiness. The Nutrition Plan gave me focus, goals and above all I got involved in a community of amazing like minded women from around the world. I am finally happy in my own skin and confident in myself. I have the confidence to attend spinning classes every week, something which I would have never done before finding Tone It Up. I love my active, healthy lifestyle and I just wish I had decided to make the change sooner!

I started to see results after the first month. The one area where I always used to have problems is the stomach area, and this is where I first noticed a change! I was less bloated and my abs were actually starting to develop. I developed a waistline where I used to be straight up and down, and the fat was replaced with toned muscles. Also, I used to have an energy slump everyday around 3pm, needing some sugar or coffee to get me through the rest of the afternoon. However after following the Tone It Up plan I found my energy levels have increased ~ no more 3pm energy slumps!

Hi I’m Katrina Hodgson… yes, one of the Tone It Up girls. I lost over 25 pounds! Karena and I put together a diet plan to help us slim down and tone up. I have to be honest… I was feeling a little humiliated to put this picture up… especially as a trainer. Being a personal trainer, I was spending too much time on others, my career and not my own health (like most people actually, mothers, business women, students etc). I hid my weight really well. When I joined the Tone It Up Nutrition plan in June 2012, I weighed 172 pounds and was a size 10. I have lost a total of 25 pounds and 26 inches since then. I now weigh 147 pounds and am wearing a size 4 for the first time in eight years. I wasn’t what I considered to be a ‘big girl’ when I started this, but I wasn’t living the life I wanted. Being an actor, image is so important. Not just the way you look, but the way you portray yourself to the world at large. Now, when people look at me, they can see a strong, determined, confident woman who leads an active lifestyle and puts the right kind of foods into her body. They see a woman who truly loves her body, in all aspects.

When I first started out, my goal was to lose 10 pounds and to get a 28-inch waist. I achieved that goal by the end of September, after only four months of being on the Tone It Up plan. I recommend the Tone It Up Nutrition Plan to anyone who is ready to quit dieting and get fit! I lost 45 lbs, going from a size 16 to a size 6. I also lost 5″ around my waist, 5″ around my hips and 4″ around each of my thighs!!

I’m a stay at home mom of four and after trying all kinds of ways to lose weight between pregnancies (ie: killing myself at the gym and drastically cutting calories), I was really looking for a lifestyle change.
