My Tone It Up journey started at the end of June 2011. After my Rotterdam marathon on April 10, 2011 I had to stop running because of an injury. And not running made my body stop functioning properly. It just stopped working. I gained weight and was totally bloated. I was able to workout, but my body was not doing what it was supposed to do. I tried lots of things, but nothing worked.
Searching the internet got me to Tone It Up! I was so inspired to read all these great nutritional facts and see the workouts. I felt the energy, the positivity, and the motivation from you. From using the recipes on the site I felt better and my body started working again. I was exhilarated!
Once I became a lifetime member, all doors opened for me. The bloating was gone! I lost the extra pounds and started my own challenge. In 12 weeks I lost some more weight, lots of inches, and felt better than ever. Five meals a day: lean, green and clean! I thought I ate healthy, but perfecting my eating habits with the plan got me under my goal weight and better yet, maintaining it without any trouble. Also, I was able to start running again! I love everything Tone It Up gave me. I love the power, energy, the urge to go further, beyond boundaries, and I love all the Members. We are a giant family who motivates each other. It’s precious.
All together I lost 13lbs and 12 inches. My body fat % lowered by 5% and my lean muscle mass grew. My jeans were baggy and my belt needed extra holes. I workout every day, do my Booty Call as often as I can, and go to the gym Monday through Friday. On Saturday I run for 30 mins and Sunday is my long run day. Another great thing happened during my journey, I became a Les Mills BodyPump instructor! If I would not have found Tone It Up, this would have never happened. My life has changed so much, I cannot believe it. At 46, I’m as fit as I have ever been. All thanks to Karena and Katrina. Thank you!
