My name is Heidi Nicolle. I am a model and actress in New England. A few months ago things started picking up for me and my body could not keep up. I have always been thinner, but was never really in great shape. It became my goal to change this. I turned to ToneItUp Fitness to help me achieve my goals and gain my energy back.
On November 22, 2009, I received the email on how to Tone It Up! One week. That’s all it took for me to start noticing a difference. I fell in love with my new body. I knew this was not just another diet but a new lifestyle of healthy eating and living. For the next 4 weeks, I worked out and ate healthier than I had in my entire life. I found myself looking up recipes through ToneItUp.com and watching their videos. As the days turned into weeks, I realized I was never going back to eating unhealthy and only dieting right before my next role. Over the last 12 weeks, I lost a total of 11 pounds. It was so exciting because they were the last 10 or so pounds that I could never get rid of. From there, I started noticing muscles I never knew exsisted and had energy, which made me feel good about myself.
I had a new look and a new mind set, and also noticed that my immune system was strengthened. Throughout my life, if anyone had even the simplest cold, I would catch it. This was amazing! I truly cannot thank Tone It Up enough for changing not only my body, but my overall health.
With my new attitude, body and mind set, I was able to attend more castings. Recently, I became a spokes model for Bare Bones Gear a MMA clothing line. Also, look for me in theaters next fall in ‘Which Way!” :)

I just want to let you know how much you have helped me in believing in myself. As corny as it sounds it’s the truth. I can honestly say this is the healthiest I have felt and looked. I have always been self-conscious about my body until now, especially my stomach, and now I enjoy getting dressed and looking pretty.
Just from you writing out what I should eat my stomach is shrinking and I can wear the clothes I have always wanted to. Just this past week I have received so many complements at work telling me how good I look. When I woke up Friday morning I wanted to cry, not because I was sad, but because of how happy I was… how all this hard work has paid off. It makes me feel really good about myself with everything right now. So I just thought I’d let you know how I felt and that whenever you are having a bad day you can think of all the good you do in making people feel god about themselves in reaching their goals. I couldn’t be happier right now! Anyway, I hope you had a good weekend and I will see you on Tuesday.

When I decided to go to graduate school in 2008, I did not expect to gain much weight. I started school at around 134, and by the time I graduated in 2010 I was 155. (Looking at these pictures now, I’m totally humiliated that I let it get that bad!!) Between 3 part-time jobs, commuting 3 hours every day, and non-stop reading and studying, I let myself get off track. I had no idea how bad it really was!
In August I received the Tone It Up plan and it’s completely changed my life.
With their healthy eating plan and diverse workout routines (not to mention their motivation, enthusiasm, caring, and overall support), I was able to lose 20 pounds
in a matter of months – the healthy way. I’ve kept it off and more importantly, am keeping it up!
One of the things I love most about their plan and interaction with their clients is that they explain everything. There’s hard science behind their methods, and anyone can look up their basic thoughts and see they’re well founded. It’s not gimmicky, it’s not hard to follow, and it’s truly a lifestyle over a diet.
Since joining the plan, I’ve been an unofficial ambassador for Tone It Up. I love
talking with people about the plan (the new TIU Community makes this so simple!). I’ve made some great friends and have great support. I truly believe in what Karena &Katrina are doing – giving women and people a truly healthy way not only to lose weight and tone up, but to feel good about themselves. Theirs is the way we should all be living, with health and fitness in mind but with a focus on others. The hard work they’ve put in and the sacrifices they’ve made to give us this plan is greatly appreciated, and it shows on every person’s face who follows the plan.

3 Months on the plan- Loving my legs. I’m happier. I’m glowing. I’m seeing results and I’m feeling confident! Not giving up- still have work to do. I see definition in my legs!
4 Months on the plan- I’m wearing a hot dress this Saturday! I want to show off that I lost 3 inches off my stomach, 3 inches from hips, 1 inch from arms. And I lost 6 pounds.
6 Months on the plan- I love you guys for making me strong in so many ways.
I’m at my lowest weight. At 6 months tomorrow on the plan, I’m at 13 lbs lighter than when I started.

I can’t believe I’m actually waking up at 6AM. I can’t believe how much stronger I am after strength training. I can’t believe I lost 4-5 pounds. I can’t believe how supported I’ve felt by an online group. I’m truly inspired and I’m looking forward to the changes in the next 30 DAYS! I’ll keep it up. I’ve had my wellness and fitness towards the top of my to do list during the last month and it’s really paid off.
My husband has noticed a huge difference in my MOOD. I’ve had my ups and downs as always, but my mood and the subsequent response to sad, mad, frustrated, worried feelings have been more moderate. This is HUGE in our lives.
I’m sure it goes without saying, that my three children noticed a difference – how could they not? I’ve been more even tempered.
My stomach is firmer, my legs MUCH stronger (squats!) and I can do cardio (walking, running and the stair master) twice as long as I could 30 days ago. Life has GENUINELY improved because of consistency! Thank you for Gabby’s mission and Karena and Katrina’s perky messages everyday. Stay in touch!
